Operations Manager - process improvement (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Nova Wilder Construction and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for subcontractor invoices and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
