Operations Manager - process improvement (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Union Transit Planning Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for service alerts and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
