Operations Manager - process improvement (Columbus, OH)

Northwind Thistle Water Authority is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for treatment plant data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
