Operations Manager - process improvement (Cleveland, OH)

Stonegate Ivory Freight is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for loads and lanes and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
