Operations Manager - process improvement (Cincinnati, OH)

Redstone Drift Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Cincinnati. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
