Operations Manager - process improvement (Cincinnati, OH)

Bluepeak Drift Farms is an agricultural business based around Cincinnati, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for packing house output and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
