Operations Manager - process improvement (Cincinnati, OH)

Bluepeak Harbor Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Cincinnati working with agencies and riders. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for survey data and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
