Operations Manager - process improvement (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Summit Lakeside Environmental Services Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
