Operations Manager - process improvement (Cincinnati, OH)

Ironwood Umber Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Cincinnati. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Track performance measures for contractor visits and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with safety inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
