Operations Manager - process improvement (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Cross Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Track performance measures for ridership counts and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
