Operations Manager - process improvement (Chicago, IL)

Nova Rowan Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for field inspections and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
