Operations Manager - process improvement (Chicago, IL)

Cedar Energy is an energy provider in Chicago focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 599 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for usage data and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
