Operations Manager - process improvement (Chicago, IL)

Bright Yarrow Inspection Services Group is an inspection company in Chicago with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
