Operations Manager - process improvement (Charlotte, NC)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Lakeside Transit Planning and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
