Operations Manager - process improvement (Charleston, SC)

Stonegate Field Manufacturing Group is a Charleston manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for customer orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
