Operations Manager - process improvement (Charleston, SC)

Summit Keystone Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Charleston, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Track performance measures for contractor visits and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with safety inspections. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
