Operations Manager - process improvement (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Clear Freight and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
