Operations Manager - process improvement (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Nova Rook Water Authority and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for water quality and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
