Operations Manager - process improvement (Charleston, SC)

Amberfield Glen Inspection Services Group tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Charleston, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
