Operations Manager - process improvement (Buffalo, NY)

Lumen Linden Foods is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 662 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for customer specifications and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
