Operations Manager - process improvement (Buffalo, NY)

Greenridge Thistle Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for vehicle inspections and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Lean or continuous-improvement training.
