Operations Manager - process improvement (Buffalo, NY)

Foxglove West Energy Partners is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for billing disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Track performance measures for billing disputes and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
