Operations Manager - process improvement (Buffalo, NY)

Summit Willow Auto Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for supplier deliveries and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
