Operations Manager - process improvement (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Vista Water Authority Group and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Track performance measures for treatment plant data and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
