Operations Manager - process improvement (Boston, MA)

Harborlight Wren Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Boston region, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Track performance measures for harvest schedules and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
