Operations Manager - process improvement (Boston, MA)

Rivermark Ember Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Boston. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 401 people based in Boston. What you will do • Track performance measures for change orders and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
