Operations Manager - process improvement (Boston, MA)

Westbrook Junction Auto Group is a Boston company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for customer estimates and act on them. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
