Operations Manager - process improvement (Boise, ID)

Summit Rook Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Boise and nearby communities. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Boise. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for meter reading and act on them. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
