Operations Manager - process improvement (Boise, ID)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Meridian Freight and adding an Operations Manager whose main responsibility will be process improvement. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for dock schedules and act on them. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
