Operations Manager - process improvement (Birmingham, AL)

Rivermark Cross Inspection Services is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
