Operations Manager - process improvement (Baltimore, MD)

Rivermark Oak Freight Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track performance measures for carrier rates and act on them. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
