Operations Manager - process improvement (Baltimore, MD)

Cedar Oak Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Baltimore working with agencies and riders, and we need an Operations Manager to lead our process improvement. You would join a large organisation of about 726 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Track performance measures for accessibility audits and act on them. What we are looking for • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
