Operations Manager - process improvement (Anchorage, AK)

Amberfield Cedar Inspection Services is an inspection company in Anchorage with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Track performance measures for certifications and act on them. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
