Operations Manager - process improvement (Anchorage, AK)

Clearpath Ember Manufacturing is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 310 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Track performance measures for work orders and act on them. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
