Operations Manager - process improvement (Anchorage, AK)

Bright West Transit Planning Group is looking for an Operations Manager. The job centres on process improvement for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Lead safety and compliance routines and follow up on incidents. • Track performance measures for fare systems and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. What we are looking for • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • Lean or continuous-improvement training. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
