Operations Manager - process improvement (Albuquerque, NM)

Lumen Sparrow Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Albuquerque. We are hiring an Operations Manager to take on process improvement. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Plan daily and weekly work and keep it moving when things change. • Find and fix the small process problems that cost hours every week. • Manage vendors, contracts and budgets. • Track performance measures for claims and act on them. • Manage a team of supervisors and coordinators. What we are looking for • Comfort with numbers, schedules and reports. • Good judgement under pressure. • Four or more years in operations, with some people-management. Nice to have • Lean or continuous-improvement training. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
