Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Wichita, KS)

Cedar Drift Health Group is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on scheduling and referrals for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
