Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (St. Louis, MO)

Lumen Fern Care Services Partners is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around St. Louis. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
