Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (St. Louis, MO)

Cedar Union Health is a healthcare provider in St. Louis with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification.
