Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Savannah, GA)

Lumen Meridian Health is a healthcare provider in Savannah with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
