Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (San Jose, CA)

Westbrook Oak Health Group is a healthcare provider in San Jose with clinics and support teams, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
