Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (San Jose, CA)

Rivermark Harbor Care Services supports families and individuals in San Jose with personal care and coordination, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
