Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (San Jose, CA)

Westbrook Oak Health Group is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on scheduling and referrals for clinic supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
