Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (San Jose, CA)

Cedar Fern Care Services supports families and individuals in San Jose with personal care and coordination, and we need a Medical Assistant to lead our scheduling and referrals. You would join a small organisation of about 192 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
