Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Health Group and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be scheduling and referrals. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. What we are looking for • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
