Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Cedar Bridge Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be scheduling and referrals. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
