Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Wren Health and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be scheduling and referrals. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
