Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Wren Care Services and adding a Medical Assistant whose main responsibility will be scheduling and referrals. You would join a large organisation of about 949 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Comfort with electronic health records. • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Richmond. • We reply to every applicant.
