Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Reno, NV)

Redstone Birch Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Reno. We are hiring a Medical Assistant to take on scheduling and referrals. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Prepare and label specimens. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Comfort with electronic health records. • Warm, discreet and dependable. Nice to have • Spanish language skills. • Phlebotomy certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
