Medical Assistant - scheduling and referrals (Reno, NV)

Stonegate Yarrow Health is looking for a Medical Assistant. The job centres on scheduling and referrals for patient education, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Keep exam rooms stocked and clean. • Assist clinicians during exams and procedures. • Room patients, take vitals and record histories. • Schedule follow-ups, referrals and prior authorisations. • Prepare and label specimens. What we are looking for • Medical assistant training or equivalent experience. • Warm, discreet and dependable. • Comfort with electronic health records. Nice to have • Phlebotomy certification. • Spanish language skills. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
